  • Episode 10 - Eartha Kitt recorded her lines shortly before her death in 2008, more than a year before the episode aired.
  • Episode 13 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Milhouse's ancestor wrote in his diary that he was sitting under a "sarsaparilla tree". Sarsaparilla is actually a climbing vine.
  • Episode 04 - Goof (factual errors): Marge asks, "what kind of civilized people eat the body and blood of their savior?" Cut to Rev. Lovejoy, who becomes uncomfortable as the punchline of this jab, apparently as one who believes this. Reverend Lovejoy is a Protestant, not a Catholic, and thus would not believe that th
