Season 1 Trivia

  • Episode 10 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Bart makes 6 check marks on the card he fills out at the Rusty Barnacle, but there are only 5 boxes on the card.
  • Episode 01 - Goof (continuity error): Marge comes through the door and you see that she has come from a room with a piano in it. It has a music book on it. But when the shot changes so we see Marge turn the jar upside down, the music book has disappeared.
  • Episode 10 - The entire scene in the photo lab is animated in real color, but has a red gel pasted over the scene to give it the photo-lab effect.
  • Episode 01 - This special went on to be the series premiere. It is now listed as episode 7G08, "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire".
  • Episode 01 - Goof (continuity error): Barney has blond hair, which changed to its current color in later seasons.
