kite Oct 18, 2007 9:30PM	Two things can be said about a show such as The Simpsons- running 19 seasons long, its either the most brilliant thing in animated sitcoms, or the very worst. What is it about Homer that forces us to love and forgive him and his idiot mistakes? Is it that we feel sorry for him, or that we can honestly relate? Hoping that its not the latter, this show is made best by what it is lacking as opposed to what it includes. That is, family values, acknowledgment of diversity, tolerance, a strong moral base, and a clean sense of humour. Whether this show is adored by people because they agree with its lackluster viewpoints, or because they actually know and hate in true life someone resembling the moral bounds of the Simpson family, it brings enjoyment to all, forming a bond between a previous, more ignorant and conservative television generation, and the newer, brighter, more accepting and freethinking one that follows.	+3
