Summary: When Bart and Milhouse become bored, they head over to Flanders’ house and wreak havoc.When they’re caught in the act, Homer and Marge decide to enroll Bart in the “Pre-Teen Braves,” a club to keep kids off the streets. Homer becomes the “tribal chief,” leading the kids in such traditional Native American activities as eating Buffalo wings and watching football.Milhouse is separately enrolled in the “Cavalry Kids,” and the two groups feud over which group can do more for charity. The fight escalates as the groups engage in a heated battle to see who can sell more candy.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: The cover of the Beatles album "Let It Be" has a black border. The border on the cover of "Let It Be" hanging in Ned's basement constantly changes color, but is never black.
PLOT: If only the possessions of the Flanderses that survived in "Hurricane Neddy" were the family tombstones, all of Ned's Beatles records and memorabilia would have been destroyed too. Remember that Bart mentions that John Lemon is a 40-year-old novelty drink, and that John Lennon made his joke about the Beatles being "bigger than Jesus" in 1966.

TRIVIA

The drink cans Bart and Milhouse open have pull-tabs, the kind that come off the can when pulled. This is accurate; the modern stay-tabs, which don't come off the can, weren't introduced until 1975 - well after the Beatles era.
After Bart drinks the "40-year-old novelty drink" and is hallucinating, he says, "Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dog's eye." This is a line from The Beatles' song "I Am the Walrus", released in 1967.
