Bart: My strobe light!
Homer Simpson: My "Best of Ray Stevens - featuring the 'Streak' - Album"! So it was the dog who buried all our stuff!

Marge Simpson: Yes... the dog.
Bart: Hey, boy, you want to play fetch?
Bart: Aw. Me and Santa's Little Helper used to be a team, but he never wants to play anymore since his bitch moved in.
Marge Simpson: Bart, don't ever say that word again!
Bart: Well, that's what she is. I looked it up.
Marge Simpson: Well, I'm going to write the dictionary people and have that checked. Feels like a mistake to me...

Mr. Burns: Right now I'll be taking my puppies back.
Lisa: But they're ours, you stole them from us!
Mr. Burns: Here's a phone. Call somebody who cares.
Mr. Burns: [snatches it back] Give me that!

Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (continuity error): When Bart and Lisa go down the laundry chute, Lisa removes Bart's shoes and socks and throws his socks down the chute to get the puppies to go down and escape Mr. Burns. However, when Mr. Burns points his gun at Bart and Lisa after deciding he can't kill the puppies in the next scene, Bart's shoes are back on.
- Goof (continuity error): During the 'meal scene' when the turkey starts to move, we can see that it has hardly been touched, making the subsequent congratulations look overzealous.
