Trivia
- The story was partially inspired by a true story. On 16 October 1987, an 18-month-old girl, Jessica McClure, fell into an abandoned well. Rescuers dug a parallel shaft and rescued her.
- Bruce Springsteen was originally asked to appear instead of 'Sting'.
- Argentinian rock band Timmy O'Toole took his name from this episode.
