Summary: It's a walk down memory lane as Homer and Marge recount their early years for Bart and Lisa. Back in 1980, a young Homer and Marge are forced to get married at Shotgun Pete's Wedding Chapel after Marge becomes pregnant. But married life is difficult for the young couple and Homer decides to leave Marge until he is able to provide the sort of life he thinks she deserves. Marge tracks Homer down at his new job at the Gulp 'N Blow and the two agree to stick it out and build a family together.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When Homer is writing his goodbye-letter to Marge he completely scratches out Patty's name on the paper. In the next scene it has just a line through it.
CONT: Homer scratches Patty's name off the stationary and writes his name directly below her's and horizontally, but when Marge is reading the letter, his name is slightly to the right and diagonal.
