Summary: Christmas is nearly ruined when Marge has to spend all of the family's gift money to remove Bart's tattoo. Homer becomes a department store Santa to raise more cash, but bets it all at the dog races on a hot tip from Barney. Homer and Bart save Christmas by adopting the losing greyhound, Santa's Little Helper.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: In the end when Marge hugs homer, the background in the scene is upside down.
FAKE: When Marge is talking on the phone to her sister in the beginning, when she goes to hang up the cord completely disappears from the receiver
MISC: When Bart and Homer return with Santa's Little Helper, a single frame of Maggie sliding off Marge's lap was misplaced.
CONT: While having breakfast, all of the Simpsons' glasses of orange juice keep disappearing and reappearing throughout the scene.
CONT: At Moe's, Homer's bottle of beer vanishes when Barney tells Homer about his part time job as a Santa at the mall.
