- After 13 episodes in the 1st season of the show Marvel had planned a 2nd season with 13 more episodes for The Sliver Surfer. But the 2nd season didn't air because Marvel was facing bankruptcy problems and couldn't afford to air the 2nd season even though the show had good ratings.
- This series ended on a cliffhanger.
- Though Silver Surfer was picked up for a second season, Marvel's bankruptcy halted production of it and the Captain America cartoon. Second season is scripts only.
