Jim Ellison works for the Cascade PD in Major Crimes. When he experiences trouble with his five senses, he meets Blair Sandburg an anthropologist, who explains to him he's a Sentinel and helps him control his senses. Their friendship and odd partnership allows them to fight crime and lock villains away.
