Summary: Mob goons burst into Rockford's trailer in search of tapes King Sturtevant left with him. Then Federal Agent Shore collars Rockford and he also wants the tapes. Trouble is, Rockford has no idea who King Sturtevant is or where the tapes are! The only way out of this jackpot is to find "King" Sturtevant and get answers...

Larry 'King' Sturtevant: [at police HQ where Rockford is being held on suspicion of murder, thanks to a football player from a minor league whom no one has ever heard of] And then I held him at, ah, gunpoint for ten, fifteen minutes, and then you guys showed up. Larry 'King' Sturtevant: Yeah, yeah thats it. [he turns back to Beth] Ah, listen honey, try not to stare. I know it's difficult, but why don't you just relax and later the two of us will go get some coffee. I'll let you look at my scrapbook, hah?
Beth Davenport: That'd be lovely, only I gave up reading the funnies in the third grade.

TRIVIA

In this episode we learn Rockford likes the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie. He has them recorded on reel to reel tapes.
The chase through the drive-in theater took place at the Pickwick Drive-In in Burbank which was torn down about ten years later and replaced with a Von's Pavilions and a shopping center. Garner clearly is having a great time driving through the drive-in.
