Real Housewives of New York City cast member Bethenny Frankel is not only engaged, but she's also expecting her first child with fiancé Jason Hoppy.

Frankel, who got engaged Oct. 8, confirmed her pregnancy on Twitter after blogger Perez Hilton first reported the news.

Frankel, 38 told People she had hoped to wait until she was farther along in her pregnancy to share the happy news. "I haven't even gone through my first trimester," Frankel said...

Bethenny Frankel has been busy making news. First, she was feuding with the other women on The Real Housewives of New York City. Then, she was replaced on Real Housewives by Sonja Morgan because Bethenny is getting her own Bravo show. Last week, she announced her engagement to Jason Hoppy. Today, Bethenny's confirmed that she's pregnant... and yes, Jason is the father.

Bethenny is two months along and claims she would have preferred keeping the baby news quiet until she'd gotten through her first trimester. It's understandable because it's her first baby and some people are suspicious about saying anything too soon.

Three stars have been born on Bravo! Well, at least three personalities from successful reality shows. Bravo has plucked three stars for new reality shows, Bethenny Frankel, Cristian Siriano and Fabio Viviani, giving each of them their own series.

Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City has been rumored to be spinning off into her own show for a while. She'll be appearing on the upcoming season of Real Housewives -- they're already filming in NYC -- but then she'll have her own program after that. It will be about her social life in NYC as well as her career as a natural foods chef. Bethenny has lots of personality and should do well on her own.
