Resign from the spy service and you too could be a Prisoner. But this is no ordinary prison. How do you tell the inmates from the warders? Who is number two? Where is number one? With a strange bubble these all go to make probably the best cult TV spy drama ever. Must be seen to complete your appreciation of espionage. Please follow the guidelines when posting your review. GREAT SHOW!! I used to have every episode on my hard drive and i would have uploaded but I couldnt find where to upload for this site. but then I accidentally shorted it out. They were talking about the "new world order" even back in the 60's.I am not a number! I am a free man.... Vote Ron Paul for president hes the only one that agrees with that statement. |

It has been said that this is television's first masterpiece. In my view, this is the most sophisticated and intelligent adventure series (only 17 episodes in total) to ever make its way to television. Patrick McGoohan plays a secret agent who resigns and is then kidnapped and brought to a village located on a remote island. Although the buildings and decorations are cheerful and everything is brightly coloured, there is a dark purpose lurking underneath. All residents of the village have been brought there because they have some kind of valuable information. No one is safe from the eyes of their captors as even the statues which adorn the grounds are cameras and people can be watched wherever they are, even in their living quarters. Everyone is assigned a number and one must concentrate because it can be difficult to follow. A cult series. |

This classic quasi spy drama starring Patrick McGoohan has a cult following. If you want the whole series let me know and I will Up it. |
