TRIVIA

In order to get his TV commercial made, Felix needed Oscar's help because Deacon Jones (I) wouldn't talk with any person in everyday life other than Oscar. This was an inside joke, because in real life Jones was (and still is) one of the more outspoken NFL player personalities, on and off the field.
