Summary: Marissa tries to get her relationship with Ryan back on track, but Ryan is reluctant to forgive her about the situations surrounding Oliver. Things become harder for Marissa when Theresa, Ryan's ex-girlfriend from Chino, comes to Newport to cater the Valentine's Day dance. Meanwhile, Seth and Summer take their friendship to a new level and Jimmy learns that he has a secret admirer living in the Cohen house.

Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (continuity error): When Seth comes to Summer's room for the second time, he starts kissing her shoulder. Summer's shirt goes from off her shoulder, to on it, to back off it again.

"The Night Moves" by Bob Seger is playing in the background at Julie's home when Luke shows up. Julie and Caitlyn later sing this song together in season four in "The Night Moves" at the ice cream shop after being trapped from the earthquake.
