• Episode 06 - The producers considered doing an additional tribute to the third major period of Batman, the gothic 1970s stories written by 'Denny ONeil and drawn by Neal Adams. However, they decided that it would not be practical to attempt to emulate Adams' realistically naturalistic drawing style for animation.
• Episode 10 - As Jack Ryder busts into the clothing store to redress himself, a sign above the boutique reads "Ditko's Vintage Clothing", named after Steve Ditko, the creator of The Creeper. A mannequin of The Question, another of Steve Ditko's characters is seen in the backgroun
• Episode 06 - A kid named Joel associates Batman with "tight rubber armor", and "a flashy car that can drive up walls", both references to Batman Forever, which was directed by Joel Schumacher.
• Episode 02 - Goof (continuity error): After the Giant praying mantis attacks batman and gets its arms stuck in the oil tanker, there is a shot where the tanker is undamaged (the mantis' arms are gone) and again in the succeeding shot, the arms are back in the tanker again.
