- Goof (plot holes): Orly has always been presented as a small, one-stoplight town in rural Georgia, yet this episode has Orly's airport offering daily, direct flights to and from Los Angeles.
- Goof (errors in geography): The episode opens at the Amtrak station in St. Louis, but a loudspeaker can be heard in the background calling for passengers for "Bayport, Sayville, Blue Point," destinations of the Long Island Railroad in faraway New York.
- Goof (plot holes): Macho Man Magazine's February and March centerfolds have been murdered, so Birdie goes undercover to try to become the April centerfold, but a monthly magazine would certainly have several months' worth of future issues in production, not be looking to hire the April issue's model while the March issue is already on the stands.
