  • Episode 11 - The only episode in the series that Edward Asner does not appear in.
  • Episode 11 - The title comes from the rallying cry from the era of the Oregon Territory dispute in the early 19th century to claim territory farther into Canada. 54 40 or Fight! referring to the latitude in question.
  • Episode 08 - Two of the four names fleetingly visible on the tote board for the councilman's race are "Lorenzo" and "Davis" - Lorenzo Music and David Davis are credited as the writers for this episode.
