Raised by Bubbie the talking blue whale in the bubbling splendor of the sea, young Flapjack once enjoyed a life of peace. That all ended the day he and Bubbie rescued Captain K’nuckles, a crusty old pirate from a shipwreck . The seafaring buccaneer’s tall tales quickly tangle up Flapjack’s head like a squid in a Silly String factory, consuming him with an insatiable desire for adventure.

The Volume One DVD was released on September 15, 2009. A Volume Two DVD was announced for a December 2010, but was canceled in July 2010. because 'The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack' was removed from schedule.
