Summary: Ms. Frizzle’s class has agreed to open up the school for the principal, who is still away on a business trip. However, when they discover that there’s too much work to do, Mikey decides to program the school’s computer to automatically do the chores for them. In hopes of showing the children how computers work, Ms. Frizzle takes the children on a surprise fieldtrip inside of the computer, though when things start to malfunction, they must fine Mikey in an attempt to get things restored to their proper condition.
