Bugs gives both his and Daffy's birthdays as July 27th and April 17th, respectively. Daffy's first appearance in a cartoon was in "Porky's Duck Hunt" which premiered on April 17th, 1937 and, while Bugs had appeared in earlier cartoons, Warner Bros. considers "A Wild Hare" which premiered July 27th, 1940, to be Bugs' debut role, and so mark it as his birthday.
Porky's license plate can clearly be seen: It's "PP1935", PP being his initials and 1935 being the year in which he was first introduced in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons.
