Really interesting show showing the down side of the Big Brother syndrome. At times a rather frightening glimpse of a possible future under a government that controls everything and everyone.Well written and well acted, hope there's a sequel. |

A shy reclusive man in an endeavour to solve the mystery of his brother's death is thrust into a web of intrigue, conspiracy and a passionate love affair in a Britain who's government resembles big brother. I have watched 3 episodes of this excellent series now and the tension continues to build with every episode. I won't be missing any of the upcoming episodes. |

from the BBC website: Producer Gub Neal says: "The Last Enemy is an emotional odyssey about a man in search of the truth of what happened to his brother, and to his society. It's a cautionary tale about technology, with identity cards, biometric tests and armed police becoming an everyday presence in our lives. I have just watched the first episode. The first half (setting up the background info and characters) moved a little slow, but i was quite interested by the end, I am looking forward to the next episodes in this mini-series. |
