Summary: Carrie and Doug were happy. Doug had just gotten the perfect basement, it had a big screen TV, a fooseball table, everything he could ever want. But when Carrie's father accidentally burns his house down with his "lucky" hot plate, he has to move in with them, and Doug loses his basement.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When the house is viewed from outside it shows more bedroom windows then how many are actually in the bedroom.
CONT: The front door when shown from the street has three vertical windows slanting up from left to right, but when the front door is shown from the inside it has a single, large, rectangular, stained glass window as well as a mail slot.

TRIVIA

The line where Arthur gives the priest money and tells him to get an egg cream originally had Arthur telling him to "go get yourself an altar boy." But CBS refused to let the line air and it was changed.
Doug's friends were originally supposed to be a one time appearance.
