Episode 07 - Goof (factual errors): The series shows Robert F. Kennedy and his family driving a station wagon near their Virginia home when they hear on the radio that Marilyn Monroe had died which is in error as Kennedy and his family were staying at a ranc
Episode 02 - Goof (anachronisms): Both Joe and Jack are separately seen leaving home to go to war in a green Bentley Mk VI. This model was not built until after the war. Later shots show Jack campaigning in 1946 in the same car. Shots show it is the long tailed model, the "R type" not introduced until 1952.
Episode 04 - Goof (factual errors): When the doctor is talking to Jack about all the medications he's on in episode 4, he says he's on gabapentin to relax the muscles. It is not a muscle relaxant and did not come to market until 1994. This episode takes place in 1961. He also says "the ritalin isn't helping yo
Episode 01 - Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When the War Department calls Ambassador Kennedy to tell him that Jack is missing, the caller identifies himself as Commander Michael Donovan. However, he is clearly wearing the rank insignia of a Navy captain.
Episode 03 - Goof (anachronisms): Bobby is telling Jack that Jackie tried to call him, and Jack wasn't in the residence. Bobby said he told Jackie that Jack was exhausted, and probably unplugged the telephone. In the early 60's, phones could not be "unplugged" like phones can be today.
