John Mercer (ex-Special Forces) was serving a double life sentence for the murder of his Aunt and Uncle who had been abusing his sister, Jess. Then Lennie Douglas has him freed him from prison. But his release is dependant on him participating in an unofficial operation to remove untouchable criminals and to "disorganise" crime. His role is to be that of hitman!
