Episode 24 - This was the pilot for a spin-off series for Lisa Whelchel as the new headmistress of Eastland. Juliette Lewis (I), Mayim Bialik, and Sherrie Krenn were among the actors that were to play new students, but the planned series fell through.
Episode 23 - The idea that Blair was to be headmistress of Eastland was the basis of a proposed spin-off that NBC decided not to turn into a series.
Episode 16 - The episode "The First Time" (ep. #9.16) in which Natalie loses her virginity was originally written for Blair.
