At the end of the episode, the last in the first season, Mrs. Garrett huddles around Tootie, Natalie, Blair and Sue Ann and says, "Well, at least our group is back together again." The producers intended to eliminate all of the girls but these four for the second season, but decided to eliminate Sue Ann in favor of the Jo character.
