Need a private-eye with a difference? Is your problem magic related? If so heres your man. A wizard! A well made,scripted and acted show with a twist. Not to be missed. I enjoyed every episode. The only bad point I can think of. It was cancelled far too early!! BTW please only post reviews here not comments or questions which should be in the forums. Thankyou Quark - Moderator |

What a show not only does it make you think its funny as well. Why is it that the network s only give these show 1 chance then CYA. I would like to state that we in Australia would love this show on main stream TV. |

am from Brunei Darussalam, very sad for the canceling of the series. it was.. can and will be a hit series. i would buy the whole DVD even if they produce 10 seasons. pity. |

Just another example of a truly brillent show getting canceled!! watched every episode 2 or 3 times, really loved this show and felt it had so much more to give, a very intelligent show with a dark humour, all the characters where excellent especially Harry and Bob, such a shame!! :( 10/10 |

I loved this show, still kind of hoping that this show will come on for the next summer but to consider the former writer there is no science in magic, it's all fiction ;-) |

Absolutely great show. However, it is no surprise it wasn't renewed, as the show is fairly intelligent and requires more thought than most of the general public is capable of mustering. RIP |

To be honest, I bought the Dresden Files with very high optimism, it is not very often I find shows that truly engage me apart from older shows like ‘The Prisoner’, ‘Blake’s 7’ and of course ‘Star Trek’; reading the description and seeing it was apparently only season 1, I was pleased. The show is written to a high standard and the atmosphere and plot/character intermix in very potent, but that is where it stops because alas there is no more come and my dvd set will now sit alone uncompleted and faulty. Murphy to Bob to Harry himself you have the formula for a great long-running series that could have equalled many modern-day or time-long classics for that matter, though why they did not give it a better push is beyond all reason to me… the fact they marketed and sold season 1 in such a fashion (UK), doubly boggles the senses when they never planned to continue. Too many shows just leave viewers hanging, when they could at least do a plot-holed mini-ending the try to dignify an attempt at customer caring… |

Figures they would cancel it. the Sci Fi channel are idiots. They cancel the good shows all the time. I guess it isn't one of their cheesy movies they show all the time. Now they are canceling Battle Star Galactica after ONLY 4 seasons. stupid |

just started watching this series,it's ok but for a wizard he doesn't do a great deal,was expecting a bit more,maybe thats why they axed it the rateings must have been low |

yeah, I like the show too, but I also love to read...I watched the show without even knowing it was based on a series of books. Since the show is no more, I kinda want to read the books now, but I'm leary that they'll make me hate the show for not measuring up |

If anyone read the books, I think you'd understand why it was cancelled. Although I did enjoy it, it had no where near the same energy conveyed in the books. |

This was definitely one of the best new shows on TV, and I'm sorry to see it go. Dresden & Murphy have great chemistry, and "Bob" was a great character, practically stealing the scene every time he was on camera. I'll miss it. :( |
