Summary: Vanessa does a poor job on her science fair project, and when she gets to school, she is so shocked by the high quality of the other student's projects, and the poor quality of hers, that she tells a lie about one of her friends getting help on theirs. Meanwhile, when the dishwasher breaks, Clair tries to keep Cliff from fixing it, but to no avail. Cliff ends up destroying it, having to by a new one, and tries to hide it from Clair.
