appara 12 months ago	'the closer' is one of my favorite shows...its not one of those shows that you fastforward thru parts because its not holding your attention...the characters are quirky,the dialogue is always interesting,and they always get their man...just to prove that point, 'the round file' episode was nominated by the writers guild of america for 'best episodic drama'!	+1

simplymyself Aug 16, 2007 3:02PM	I think what I love most about Chief Johnson is that she's totally a tough cop, but she always wears such feminine clothes -- lots of pretty skirts and floral patterns. It's such a wonderful contrast. I like that she's a tough female cop character who's not really butch (sorry Mariska).	+1

michealb69 Aug 7, 2007 3:33AM	I'm a big fan of crime dramas, and this one stands out from the pack like CSI once did. The approach to the material is human, not technical, and few other shows leave me with the feeling that "i didn't see that coming." Nice to watch something that isn't always horribly predictable.	+2

The irony being how well the main character Brenda Lee Johnson can read and manipulate other people, yet fails miserably in her own personal life.	+1
