Mistakes/Goofs

Goof (revealing mistake): When Lt. Tao uses the green laser, he holds the device in his hand, yet the trajectory and the point where it hits a window or wall are shown to be rock-steady. In reality the laser would wobble uncontrollably, which suggests that the beam was painted-in in post-production. Also, it is doubtful that such a laser would scatter enough light to be visible as a bright beam in the LA night air.
