  • Episode 10 - This is the first of two shows in which Robert Reed did not appear.
  • Episode 23 - Goof (continuity error): In "Our Son, the Man", Mike states that the attic in the house is only two and a half feet tall. The attic now is tall enough that adults can stand straight up with much head room to spare.
  • Episode 07 - Maureen McCormick and Florence Henderson performed "Together (Wherever We Go)". Robert Reed read Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Day is Done", with [url=/person/barry_williams]Barry W
  • Episode 18 - The title was based on "The Subject was Roses" by Frank D. Gilroy and opened at the Royale Theater (and four other theaters) in New York on May 25, 1964, ran for 832 performances and won the 1965 Tony Award (New York City) for the Best Play. The play also won the Pulitzer Prize in Drama in 1965.
