THE BORGIAS will be a complex, unvarnished portrait of one of history's most intriguing and infamous dynastic families. 'The Borgias' is Cancelled by Showtime After Three Seasons.
Showtime's period drama The Borgias won't get to see its natural end. Showtime has cancelled the series, based on the titular historical family, after three seasons, bringing the show's run to a close just one year earlier than planned. The Borgias series finale, "The Prince," will air on the 16th June on Showtime.
