  • Episode 20 - Goof (anachronisms): A woman is being questioned during jury selection. It would have been highly unusual for a woman to serve on a jury in California in the 1870s. Although California women were given the right to vote in 1911 and did serve on some juries at that point, it was not until 1917 that a law was enacte
  • Episode 23 - The scene where Heath is tallying cattle and then investigating buzzards flying over a dead steer is the exact same footage that was first used in "The Big Valley" (1965) {The Invaders (#1.16)}.
  • Episode 26 - Victoria's horse is a black mare named Misty Girl.
  • Episode 14 - Goof (continuity error): When Heath Barkley's back is whipped inside the encampment of the religious sect, there seem to be no scars visible from the previous two floggings he suffered in the past 15 months, once in "Legend of a General" and again in "The Iron Box".
