Summary: In the fourth season premiere, low-life Tony Zucco demands protection money from the flying graysons, a family of acrobats. The family declines. In retaliation, Tony kills John and Mary Grayson, leaving their son Dick an orphan. Batman then takes it upon himself to take down Zucco, and get revenge for young Dick, though he soon finds himself bonding with Dick. Will this bond cause Batman to bring in a new partner...?

TRIVIA

The overall design for Robin's costume was primarily inspired by the costume for Tim Drake, the third person to take up the identity. The spurs on his boots were inspired by those from the original costume.
Dick Grayson chooses the name "Robin" after his mother's nickname for him.
