The Banana Splits Adventure Hour
- U.K. intro lyrics: "One banana, two banana, three banana, four, four bananas make a bunch and so do many more. Flippin' like a pancake, poppin' like a cork, Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork..."
- The set and costumes were designed by Sid and Marty Krofft.
- The name of the group of little girls that terrorized the Banana Splits were the Sour Grapes.
- Besides the "Banana Splits" live-action comedy and music skits, the other segments of the show were: "The Arabian Knights" (animated) "The Three Musketeers" (animated) "Micro-Ventures" (animated) "Danger Island" (live action) Later seasons also featured re-runs of segments from "The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" (1968), The Adventures of Gulliver, and "The Atom Ant Show" (1965).
- Opening and closing sequences were filmed at Six Flags Over Texas and Coney Island Cincinnati amusement parks.
- George Barris (creator of the 60's Batmobile, the Munsters' Koach, and Knight Rider's KITT) created the Banana Buggies featured in this show.
- One of the composers employed to write the songs "performed" by the Banana Splits was future R&B legend Barry White.
- Songwriters Mark Barkan and Ritchie Adams, who composed "The Tra-La-La Song" (Main Theme) and other songs for The Banana Splits, also wrote songs for The Archies.
- The series showcased the directorial debut of future superstar director Richard Donner.
