Episode Quotes

Herself - The Bachelorette: I'm going in full force and I'm leaving with no regrets. I'm not going to let my insecurities get in the way of my happiness this time!
Gayle (Matt's mother): [on Blackberry phone] Hey Matt
Matt Colombo: Hey Mom. I'm sitting here with a beautiful young lady.
Herself - The Bachelorette: Hi Gayle!
Gayle (Matt's mother): Hi Ashleeeeeey! I'm so happy to say hello to you.
Herself - The Bachelorette: Oh that's so sweet. I'm happy to say hello to you.
Gayle (Matt's mother): I think you two are gonna get along really really well and I don't want to take up too much of your time but, if neither of you mind, I was kind of hoping to give you some motherly advise before I hang up. Is that OK?
Herself - The Bachelorette: Yes! Yes! We'd love to hear it.
Gayle (Matt's mother): Listen. When the two of you decide that you're gonna forgo your separate rooms to partake the invitation suite, just remember two things. Number one, your moms are watching and, number two, don't forget to use your protection.
Matt Colombo: All right Mom!
Bentley Williams: I'm sure the Bachelorette would have a hard time ever sending me home without a rose. I would love the Bachelorette to be Emily. I'm ready to meet her. I'm ready to see if we have a connection. I'm ready to have some fun. I hope she's up for it.

Trivia

  • Often the limo arrivals are edited both for dramatic effect and to hide key final contenders, who may be too obvious on account of their arrival order. J.P. Rosenbaum was the last man to arrive, but re-edited for the episode to leave his limo a few men before Bentley Williams so he would be less obvious to viewers and to give Bentley more attention. Ryan Park (III) was the second out, but edited as first to maximize his impact.
