Episode Quotes

Carla: [breaking in on Channel 8 on a hotel TV set] Good morning gentlemen, I'm in the jet flying at 30 thousand feet. The room is equipped with a two way video.
Face: How about the bedroom?
B.A.: [Murdock is singing "Fly me to the Moon"] Hey, fool, shut up!
Murdock: Mind your manners, Sammy, or I'll have Dino throw you out.
Hannibal: Murdock, start counting seconds... Now
Murdock: One Scooby Dooby Do, Two Scooby Dooby Do... Eleven Scooby Dooby Do, Twelve Scooby Dooby Do...
Hannibal: Well, What do ya know
Murdock: I know I'm tired of counting Scooby Dooby Dos

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (continuity error): In the Chinese consulate, the dial on the safe changes. When we first see it, it is black with white numbers on the face of the dial (a wall safe). The close-up shot shows it as one with a silver dial with black numbers. Also, the numbers are on the edge of the dial, indicating that it's probably a floor safe.

Trivia

  • During the final season, David McCallum guest starred as a Russian villain named Ivan who was once partnered with General Stockwell (Robert Vaughn). This reunited the two former "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." (1964) stars. The episode, "The Say Uncle Affair", was formatted in the same manner as an episode of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." (1964), complete with "chapter titles", the word "affair" in the title, and similar scene transitions. It is thus far the last time that the two actors have worked together.
