Summary: A reporter tries to prove that A-Team really does exist. In proving they exist she has to hire them to find a fellow reporter.

	Season 1 / Episode 1: - Mexican Slayride (1) Col. John "Hannibal" Smith: I think we'll spray this guy's field. A crop duster. Get some poison to kill his marijuana crops. I love it when a mark's angry, they don't think straight. And it will bring 'em to us. Make 'em play on our field.
	Season 1 / Episode 1: - Mexican Slayride (1) Reporter Amy Amanda Allen: Do you do this all the time? Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck: We haven't done the movie company in six months.

FAKE: The first pictures of the team members that are shown to Amy are in fact pictures from scenes that will appear later in the pilot episode.
DATE: In the pilot episode, Hannibal is officially a Lieutenant-Colonel from the US Army. However, in "Firing Line" (episode 3, season 5) Hannibal is a Colonel.

In one scene on the beach, Amy can briefly be seen wearing the pink shoulder less dress she famously wore in A-Team publicity shots.
The Arango House (completed in 1973) on Mexico's Acapulco Bay was used in this pilot episode. It is a famous residence built by the Los Angeles architect John Lautner.
This two hour season opener is split up into two parts for syndication.
Templeton "Faceman" Peck was originally played by Tim Dunigan, but he was fired after the pilot and replaced by Dirk Benedict because the producer decided that he was too young for the part.
