MISTAKES/GOOFS
- CHAR: Sarah Connor lists several scientists as being responsible for Nuclear weapons. However Heisenberg made no contributions to the successful Atomic Bomb, he led the Nazis failed attempt to create a weapon, he failed to understand the problem and was never able to create a successful design, and after the war claimed he was only trying to develop Nuclear energy as a power source not as a weapon.
- FAKE: The 'blood' covering the floor and walls of the scientists home is still red, though when blood de-oxygenates (through natural metabolism) it turns dark red then brown until it dries, shrinking and taking on a crackly appearance. Only blood fresh from the body is bright red.
- CHAR: Agent Ellison refers to Enrique as Enrique Salzia. In James Cameron's Terminator 2, the character's last name is Salceda.
- DATE: While it is true that Morris Berg was sent by the OSS to determine if Heisenberg was close to making the atomic bomb, the event occurred in 1944, not 1943 like Sarah said.
- FAKE: When Cromartie forces the scientist to make the synthetic skin, we get a shot of the scientist in the bathroom with the robot who has an over coat on. In the next shot, we see the scientist becoming amazed at the sight of the robot without the coat. If you compare the gigantic size of the robot that they show next, with the figure that was in the overcoat, there is an obvious difference in size. The real Cromartie could never fit in that small of an overcoat.
TRIVIA
- Andy refers to the original Turk, created in 1770, as an automaton, which the device was purported to be. However, since the mid-nineteenth century, the Turk has been known to be merely a magic illusion, with a human being sitting within the machine playing chess, rather than the machine itself.
- Actor Phil Morris (I) contributed an uncredited portrayal of the character Miles Dyson in a photograph in the pilot episode. A scene with the character was written and possibly even shot for this episode, but eventually left out for unknown reasons. Due to contractual reasons, Phil Morris still receives main guest credit, without appearing in the episode.
