ooter Sep 17, 2008 11:27AM	There's really nothing I can find about this show that I don't like, other than there not being enough episodes. Les Stroud is just great, and puts such realism into a scenario where one is stranded in the wilderness for some reason, and has to survive using random things you might have with you. Much of the camera work is very remniscent of Dick Proenneke, in that it has a home-grown sort of quality to it.	+0
williambaxter Jan 17, 2008 6:15PM	its good but man vs wild is better!! even though bear has a camera crew with him at least then we can focus on whats going on better, and not have to wait for him to make 3-4 trips up a hill just to get all his stuff to the top! plus i think his knowlage is not as good as bear grills :)	+0
