Summary: The brothers encounter Andy Gillette, a hippie about Sam's age who has the ability to control others' minds. Andy is able to get people to "lend" him their cars, but when he starts to use his power for larger things, he begins to attract attention. Now, Sam and Dean must stop him before he takes his power to an extreme.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: Sam claims that "Every premonition I've had, if they're not about the demon, they're about the other kids the demon visited". However in "Home" (ep. 1.09), he also had a premonition about his old house, which was haunted by an unrelated poltergeist.
GEOG: The giant dam that the girl is going to jump off of, does not exist in Guthrie.

TRIVIA

When Sam calls Dean to tell him Andy's got the Impala, Dean responds with, "He full-on Obi-Wanned me!" This is in reference to Star Wars (1977) and Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi knight who can use the Force to make people do as he wishes. In fact, later in the episode when Sam, Dean, and Andy are accessing records, Andy tells the guard, "These are not the droids you are looking for," another Obi-Wan reference.
