Summary: In a secret compartment of the Kryptonian ship – in which Superman arrived to Earth – Dr. Hamilton discovers a strange contraption: the Phantom Zone projector. The Phantom Zone: an alternate dimension for all that plagued Krypton, including criminals; this interstellar prison has presented Superman with a quandary: should he act as an extension of the Kryptonian justice system, and release Mala – who has served more than the duration of her sentence – from this Phantom Zone?
