Why oh why do the good one's have to go so soon! I LOVED this show. This was a brilliantly written show with great characters that I really cared about. Funny and touching. I particularly liked the plot line of Danny Tripp's romance with Jordan McDeere, the scene where they're locked on the rooftop and that kiss in the hallway *sigh* I lost count of the number of times I rewound both scenes. I'm still deeply disappointed that this show was cancelled! helpful comment/review

It did seem to lose steam towards the end and become more of a straight drama than a drama/comedy but it was still a fantastic show and its a real shame that its been cancelled before it was given a chance to take off. I don't understand why american tv networks don't give shows a second chance these days. Shows like seinfeld and even buffy wouldn't even get a second season these days. helpful comment/review

Good show
even if it is maybe the most difficult show to understand I have ever seen. There is a lot of american references. But people who made subtitles were good and explain somes references.

I never watched this show when it was on. But I'm almost done with the series now and I like it. I don't love it, but I like it. The acting is great and the writing is pretty sharp. The show does seem like its pats itself on the back alot, but once you get past it you may enjoy it.
Another thing: The show is about an SNL-like show based in LA. but the sketches they show parts of aren't very funny. If the show within the show is supposed to be groundbreaking and hilarious, it isn't. The sketches come off as forced, preachy and snide.

Its tragic that NBC let go of Studio 60 and The West Wing. Yep emo no season 2 unless Jericho like inspiration. helpful comment/review

Depressing that such a great show can get canceled without really given much of a chance helpful comment/review

truly a shame how this all played out. Lack of support from NBC, a little spotty on the writing by Sorkin (who is usually AMAZING) and some of the supporting cast was just buried by the performances of Perry, Whitford and Busfield. If you want to see what Sorkin and Crew are capable of go watch the West Wing. helpful comment/review

This show was beyond excellent, the writing the casting everything was great. Aaron Sorkin is great! The show was pulled by NBC which aired it not HBO. NBC make a mistake in making two SNL behind the scenes style shows plus there was always confusion as to whether this was mean to be a comedy which it definitely was never meant to be although 30 Rock is, i think this hurt the show helpful comment/review

Started off well but the writers ran out of ideas by episode 10 and it's down hill from there. Show was pulled by HBO. helpful comment/review
