Although I find this series a great one to watch, I do have a complaint. First time round (as in the first season) saw a raw, hard hitting show, all about one man's mission to not only do good for his country, but also for the people he was involved with. At the same time, as the season progressed, he tried to find out, and then come to terms with the fact that all was not what it seemed back home. Each episode kept me on the edge of my seat, and willed me to watch the next one. Now comes season 2. I'm sorry to say this, but once the show got the backing of Cinemax it all went to hell. The main character being killed of within minutes of the new season starting, with so little background or explanation (sorry for the spolier but last we saw, John was being hunted by the Americans and then suddenly shot by Latif. That's one hell of a jump). Now we have a WHOLE new cast, there's little background on who they are, or even what happened to the old lot. Now it's no longer a single man's efforts, but instead has duo (who we don't know). The biggest problem (and don't think me prudish) is that with every episode, it begins with the new *lead* character in bed with someone. I couldn't see how this was relevant to the story; it appeared to be nothing more than "sexing up" the story. Despite this, I thought the concept was great, it just felt a little like it had been sold out to the big American TV company who suddenly made all kinds of demands of a show that was great just the way it started...
