David Hansen a big-shot lawyer who grew tired of expensive Los Angeles law firm. He left his job to start a non-profit firm called Neighborhood Legal Services. His associates were Deborah Sullivan and Gabriel Kay. After 13 episodes, the show's format was changed, as he, Sullivan & Kay went to work for Devlin McNeil at the firm which he quit before.
