doubleu12052 4 weeks ago	I'm really enjoying this show. I was always a fan of the series, but lost track during the Atlantis part of the run. Stargate Universe pulled me right back in, now I have a show to watch on Friday.	+1
sunkenpirate 1 month ago	This show is simply incredible. Though it may seem that it's too similar to Battlestar Galactica, it's not really. There are many differences, which make this show definitely my favorite over BSG. Also, Stargate Universe has got the might of the Stargate franchise before it; that has to count for something. For the many fans like me who just adored Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, Stargate Universe provides a refreshing change from the traditional Stargate series while maintaining it's wonderful Stargate heritage. All in all, the story is very engrossing, the cast has acted well, and the CG of the show is definitely very good, something that you would expect from any Stargate continuation.	+2
newbie 2 months ago	I don't know what to think of it, the characters aren't as well as the other ones. And the first season problably doesn't have enemy's. So it's wait and see.	+0
harryheck 2 months ago	Pilot looks good. Seems they've gone a little Battlstar Galactica on this one (aka darker and dirtier). They even got theire own FTL drive :) I'm not holding it against them thoug. I really hope they will keep it dark and gloomy and not shiny and happy all the time.And that they don't go like the 5th season of SG-Atlantis wich in my opinion was just BS filling of time.	+0

strider 3 months ago	Like many I am so looking forward to this new show. Was hard to see the other two end , but goods shows have to end at some time. This wont be as great as the first or second yet I still will love to watch it like the rest.	+2

chaimk Dec 2, 2008 8:07AM	Stargate Universe is the working title for a third Stargate series which is currently in development. The idea of Stargate Universe is that it is set on a ship that was part of an Ancient experiment that was set in motion probably millions of years ago, one that they never saw to fruition, but that we can. The experiment is to send a ship across the universe, and to send one ahead of it to seed the galaxies with Stargates, and that they would one day use the stargate's ninth chevron to gate to the ship. Millions of years ago (before their conflict with the Wraith and even before they moved Atlantis to the Pegasus Galaxy), the show would reveal, the Ancients sent out two ships: an automated vessel to place Stargates throughout multiple galaxies in our universe, and a second ship to follow up and explore. A standard, 7-symbol gate address allows for travel within the same galaxy. Use of the Stargate's eighth chevron allows for travel to a different galaxy. And the ninth chevron will allow the team to reach this second Ancient ship, the Destiny.	+5
romeo53 Jun 24, 2008 8:24AM	offered shanks and black lead roles don't know if they accepted yet have heard since that no one from the other stargate shows will be in the new one and production has been put back to late in 2008 . well the latest ive heard now is it's been put back to 2009 because of the writers strike and there waiting for the go ahead from the network it's going to be based on a ship which seeds the galaxy with stargates	+8

blkhole Dec 31, 2007 11:56PM	I think the writers and producers will have to be very careful how they handle this especially as it is based in the present day and not the future. It may turn out to be just another Deep Space Nine...washed away and forgotten after a few seasons. But I hope not.	+1
