A band of soldiers, scientists and civilians are forced through a stargate when their hidden base comes under attack. The desperate survivors emerge aboard an ancient ship, The Destiny, which is locked on an unknown course and unable to return to Earth. They must unlock the secrets of the ship's stargate to survive. The danger, adventure and hope will reveal the heroes and villains among them.

Special Announcement
May 9 2011 - Stargate universe ended it's run tonight with episode 2x20 Gauntlet, the final eposde of season 2. Negotiations to secure a movie deal to complete the story and give fans closure failed. MGM who own the rights to Stargate have shelved the franchise. For now it seems, the Stargate has been buried, lets hope that one day it will be discovered again.
