Summary: In this second part the SG-1 team learns that Sokar is bringing his ship into orbit around Netu and decide to carry out a cunning plan; launch a bomb into the core of Netu, which will not only destroy the planet, but also kill Sokar. The problem is that after the bomb is launched - leaving them 12 minutes to escape - they stumble across an old enemy... Apophis, just as they are about to escape. Can their plan work? But more importantly, can they escape?

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: In the previous episode, "Jolinar's Memories", Martuf puts the memory device on Sam behind her ear so that the Go'uld won't see it. When Apophis completely activates the device, it is behind her ear. However, when the Jaff'a guards throw her back in the cell with the rest of the team plus Martuf and her father, the imprint from the device is seen, not behind her ear, but on her temple.
FACT: Netu's volcanic explosions start small and get ever more powerful, which is atypical of volcanic behavior: prior to any volcanic eruption, the side vents and steam vents lessen in intensity, in some cases actually going out, as the pressure builds in the main magma chamber.
