Episode Quotes

Daniel: Why are you so quick to jump to the conclusion that I'm crazy? I mean I'm dangerous, I'm out of control? It's 'cause I'm kinda acting that way, aren't I?
Jack O'Neill: I'd like to apologize in advance for anything I may say or do that could be construed as offensive, as I slowly go NUTS!

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (revealing mistake): When they first discover the 9 dead Goa'uld (at the start of the episode) you see Samantha Carter shining a flashlight across the character's back/neck to show the entry scar. Then as she is talking and noves towards the dead body's face, you can see the actor blink when the light is concentrated on his closed eyes.
  • Goof (revealing mistake): In the final shot of the opener before the title sequence, a close-up of a dead Goa'uld reveals the actor's closed eyes twitching, despite being deceased for a very long time.
  • Goof (continuity error): The doctors say that Daniel has no history of mental illness in his family, but later in the episode "The Crystal Skull" we discover that Daniel's Grandfather has been put in a mental institution and deemed insane.
  • Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When Carter puts the blood sample into the centrifuge, she doesn't balance the centrifuge before spinning the sample.
